‘Bricks and Mortar’ 

This was a fused and moulded glass panel 2m by 1m made as a site-specific piece in1 Wolstenholme Square for the 2010 Liverpool Biennial. This was a collaboration between myself and film maker Robin Heap. The photos are of the glass piece alone and also as it looked in the exhibition with the film projected onto it. The building had gone from being the former residence of the first mayor of Liverpool to a textile factory before falling into disrepair in the early 20th Century and we were asked to respond to these themes in light of its now dilapidated state.
