'Within the Book and Volume of my Brain’ are pieces made for an exhibition in Liverpool in Central Library on the theme of Shakespeare. Taking this quote from Hamlet, I made two cast glass sculptures approximately 25cm x 20cm x 6cm that were representative of the dialogue between reader and text, whereby, when one reads you bring a part of yourself to the text in order to gain understanding and this is reflected back at you, in the same way a part of yourself is reflected back to you when you look into these pieces.
